Ultrafiltraion in Pure water processCattoi2001-01-05Click here to register.
I have a costumer in Brazil working with biotechnology (cell culture) that needs to use a POU UF membrane in a pure water system, after RO. Is this allowed by USP ? Does anybody know a similar situation or any company that uses this method ?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Most water systems sold in the United States include a final point-of-use filter. Because of this I always assumed that it was allowed (if not required) by the USP. Try Millipore (Waters) or Barnstead/Thermolyne for more information.
