To my knowledge TFF (tangential flow filtration) is one of the latest (and most effective) methods for cell clarification. I would recommend TFF as a technique for these processes...I do not know of a comparable alternative.

Are you having issues with the TFF in particular for this application? Are you interested in trying out the technology? Do you know of a comparable alternative for such an application?

You can reach me directly at mre@spectrumlabs.com

yes, i have used tff since 4 years for cell clarification, but recently i observed that cell clarification step can be avoided by seamless coloum of amersham biosciences, that can capture the protein of interest by expanded chromatography. cells and flow through are comes outside of the column.

Thanks for visiting.
