| For my application I have the mesh directly in contact with a surface. I tried a Stainless steel mesh, but the small spaces between the mesh and the surface were problematic. Are there meshes that are just a sheet with holes punched in them, or something similar? Ideally it would also be flexible. | | |

Depending on some specifics of your application (mesh sizes, Temperatures, sterility, etc.) you may want to consider trying the polyester or the nylon, which are much more flexible than the stainless steel.

| I'm not sure how big an opening you're looking for, but perforated stainless steel (google perforated metal) is available with holes as small as about 0.020 inch diameter.
You can also, of course, get perforated plastic sheets of a variety of materials as well. |
