I need to harvest planktonic cells. I need to find a filter that I can filter them from their fluid and then backflush clean to capture the cells. Is there a filter available?

Spectrum carries a line of hollow fiber filters that might be able to help you.  The filters use a crossflow that filters and concentrates your sample. This method means that no backflush is necessary and cleaning is easy since the cartridge is disposable.
